For everyone

Looking for a set of skills and a certification that gives you autonomy ?

This course "Grunnkurs hav våttkort" is made for you.

Suitable for complete beginners or autodidacts with some experience, over a weekend, you will  :

  • become familiar with kayak equipment and launching procedure
  • discover different technical movements to improve you paddling efficiency and pleasure
  • learn about safety and rescue techniques.

To spread the joy of paddling is our motto.

After the course, you'll get a certificate "wet card" (våttkort) from the NPF (Norwegian Paddle Association) that allows you to rent kayaks and kayaks equipment in most places in Norway, including us.

The course is set as two "day-trip" about 8 hours each with focus on the pleasure of paddling for oneself and in group. Depending on the context we will alternate theory and practice simple scenarios all along the trip, with hop over on islands where we will have lunch. Therefore be prepare for a sporty day and bring enough food and drink, as for a long hike. We recommend also to bring a hat, sunglasses and extra warm clothes. Please inform us about any ache or injury before joining the tour.

More details about the content of this course can be find on NPF website (only norwegian)
